On November 20, 2024, Charbel Gabro received the prestigious Grand Speaker Award during a ceremony in connection with the Grand Service Day at 7A Posthuset in Stockholm. The award is presented annually to honor speakers who enrich and inspire their audience through exceptional communication and rhetorical skill.
The jury’s motivation particularly highlighted Charbel’s unique ability to create understanding between people with different ethnic backgrounds, as well as his new lecture with a broader focus on inclusion in the workplace. Charbel combines Swedish and Syrian culture in his presentations and uses humor, parallels, and sharp observations to portray cultural encounters in a way that both engages and inspires.

About the Grand Speaker Award
The Grand Speaker Award is established by Ppt Meetings and is aimed at Sweden’s foremost speakers. The nomination list of 20 candidates is compiled in collaboration with prominent companies within rhetoric and communication. The winner is selected by a jury consisting of industry experts, who score the speakers based on performances during the year.
The award is presented as a surprise to highlight the importance of the art of speaking and the important work that speakers do to spread knowledge, motivation, and inspiration.
